You might have often wondered at times when browsing sites that some sites always fail to open or at times they load and then again fail.
There is a simple way to find out if a website is really down or just really related to your own internet connection [corporate firewalls can block a lot of stuff too if you happen to play online games from office :)] and also technically you can’t really rely on just pinging a website to check if it is up or not.
Here is a very simple way to find out if a site is up or not.
1. Go to http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com and enter the name of the website that you want to check.
By the way, if you can’t connect to the above website too, chances are that it is your internet connection which is flaky and not any of the websites that you access 🙂
