While launching Steam supported PC games, it can become quite annoying when the following errors keep popping up on launching Steam :
“Cannot contact the Steam network. Please try later.†or
“Steam is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.â€Â
But there is an easy fix for the above, navigate to the path where Steam software is installed (usually C:\Program Files\Steam).
Once there, delete the file ClientRegistry.blob and then relaunch Steam.
Note : It may not immediately work upon deleting the blob file the first time, we got Steam working after deleting the file and relaunching Steam about 7 times in succession.
Hopefully, there would be a more reliable and less annoying Steam user experience in the future.
Happy gaming. 🙂
