Here’s how to install and use Google Earth in Linux Mint / Ubuntu:
1. Issue the following command at the terminal –
sudo apt-get install googleearth
2. After the installation is complete, click on ‘Menu>Internet>Google Earth’ to start the application.
3. Read the ‘Start-Up Tip’ and choose whether to tips should be shown at start-up. Click ‘Close’ when done.
4. Enjoy using Google Earth in Linux Mint / Ubuntu.
