How To Install Opera Browser In Linux Mint

The popular Opera browser can be installed quickly in Linux Mint  directly from the Terminal.
To do this, open Terminal and type :
sudo apt-get install opera
Enter the admin password and wait till the installation is complete.
The installed browser will show up in Menu > Internet > Opera in Linux Mint.
 After installation, a quick way to see where Opera stores bookmarks, cache, plugins etc and the version number is to simply type “about” in the Opera address bar :
