Signature in Gmail by default are separated from the actual email message body by the “–” line.
If this seperator line needs to be removed, here is how it can be done :
Click on the gear icon at top right of Gmail and go to Settings.
In the “General” section, scroll down to the “Signature” options and enable the tick mark next to “Insert this signature before quoted text in replies and remove the “–” line that precedes it.”
Save the changes. Gmail will reload the inbox and from now on, the signature will appear directly in message body without it.
Happy emailing.
