Default system apps that come with Windows 10 run in background even when they are not being accessed. It is to ensure that they are always updated and can provide best performance but this won’t be necessary if these are not used frequently.
So they can be configured to not run in background thereby freeing up system resources.
Here is how :
Access Windows 10 settings by pressing Windows key + I. (For more such shortcuts check out this earlier article).
Next, select Privacy.
Scroll down to Background apps.
From the list, choose to disable those lesser used apps from running in background.
This will boost system response time too thereby making Windows 10 run faster.
