To underline text in WordPress, select the text and use the shortcut key – Ctrl+U
This text is underlined.
To strikethrough text, select the text. Then hold Shift+Alt+D keys.
This text is strikethrough.
These are handy shortcuts to remember especially when the text editor of the new WordPress version doesn’t have these in the text menu.
