Gmail has a useful built-in feature that lets you translate messages between different languages, right from your inbox.

Here is how to enable and use it:

Login to Gmail web and open the message that is to be translated.

Gmail can translate messages

Click on the dots icon next to it and select Translate message from the drop-down menu.

Translate message option in Gmail

A Google Translate option will now appear within the message. You can switch between different languages for translation.

Select the source and destination language for message translation in Gmail

The message will be automatically shown in the chosen language for translation. Pretty cool.

Also, after the first use, Gmail will remember your choice of language for translation. So, any other message after that can be directly translated by clicking the Translate to link within the message.

The translation link will be displayed in subsequent Gmail messages

This feature is a time-saver as you do not need to copy-paste message contents to a translation service because Gmail handles all of it using Google Translate.

Happy emailing and translating.
