How To Change System Alert Sound In Ubuntu

Here is how to change the system alert sound in Ubuntu :

Go to System Settings > Sound

There, from the “Sound Effects” tab, simply click on the alert sound other then Default. Also, ensure “Alert volume” is set to “ON” and audible.
