How To Opt Out Of WhatsApp Sharing Phone Number And User Data With Facebook

WhatsApp recently announced that as per updated terms and conditions, it can share user data and phone number with the parent company Facebook for a better user experience and delivering targeted ads.

This feature can be turned off within 30 days if required. Here is how to stop WhatsApp from sharing phone number and user data with Facebook :

Open WhatsApp and tap on Settings.

Next, access Account.

Over there, uncheck the option “Share my account info“.

A confirmation box will pop up and it’s done.
