How To Prevent Recently Accessed Programs From Showing Up In Start Menu
When accessing programs and applications that are recently used, they tend to show up in the Start menu in Windows 7. Now imagine if you are running a super secret program of world domination and it too pops up in Start menu in full view of everyone who is around your system :).
So here is how to prevent program icons of the ones recently accessed getting displayed in the Start menu of Windows 7 :
1. Right click on the taskbar and select Properties.
2. Go to Start Menu tab and under the Privacy section, remove the checkmark from ” Store and display recently opened programs in the Start Menu”.
Doing this will now not show any of the programs that you are using directly in the Start Menu list so you can look forward to world domination quietly 😉
Cheers.
